New Group Membership

 

Thank you for your interest in County Educators Federal Credit Union. We welcome the opportunity to serve you and give you the personalized service you and your employees deserve. If your company is ready to offer credit union services to employees, simply follow the steps below.

Step 1

Send us a letter on your company's letterhead expressing your desire to join our Credit Union. You may use the sample printed below.

Step 2

If your company has more than 500 employees, please include specific details in your letter why it is not feasible for you to form your own credit union.

Step 3

Once we receive your request we will contact you to proceed with Board and National Credit Union Association approval, which takes about four to six weeks. We will then arrange a mutually convenient time to meet with your company representatives to review orientation procedures. We will also meet with your payroll department to review the process associated with Payroll Deduction and/or Direct Deposit.

Our company would like to apply for credit union membership in County Educators Federal Credit Union.

The nature of our business is (type of business) and we currently employ (no. of employees) people. We will be making Payroll Deduction and/or Direct Deposit available to our employees to facilitate your servicing their financial needs. Additionally, we agree to allow at least two on-site visits each year and provide the name of an employee who will be the Credit Union liaison.

We are not associated with any other credit union and to the best of our knowledge do not fall within the field of membership of any other credit union. Our primary business is located within 25 miles of one of your Credit Union offices.
